There are three categories of MC Licences:

Automatic: Permits driving of automatic MC vehicles exclusively.

Synchromesh: Enables driving of vehicles equipped with synchromesh or automatic gearboxes (single clutch) only.

Road ranger: Grants permission to operate any type of MC vehicle (double clutch).

An MC Licence allows you to drive a motor vehicle towing two or more heavy trailers.

All MC Assessments are conducted by our certified assessors onsite.

If you possess an interstate or international licence, please liaise with the Department of Transport to acquire either a Learners’ Permit or transfer your interstate licence to a Western Australian (WA) licence.

Requirements:

Must have held a Western Australian (WA) Drivers’ Licence for a minimum of 3 years.
Possession of either an HR (Heavy Rigid) or HC (Heavy Combination) Licence for at least 1 year.
